The Hall of Mirrors was designed to symbolically represent the power and glory of the King of France. The opulence and grandeur of the furnishings and art in the space illustrate France's achievements in politics, economic achievement, and artistic advancement.
The Hall of Mirrors in the Palace of Versailles has been filmed in many movies. Most recently, Rihanna for Dior and the Netflix show Emily in Paris was filmed there as well.
